The docs of KWin::demandAttention say @since 3.2, so if it's already 
obsoleted then we have a problem :)
Anyway, KNotify didn't make the window demand the attention (you can see 
that now, Kopete's entry in kicker's task bar flashes when getting an 
incomming message, and it didn't do that before).
