On a conference two weekends ago, I was asked for this by two users who literally
"needed it in order to use Kopete in a useful way". It seems they have hundreds
of contacts, so the balloons are too intrusive, and the icon blinking is not
enough. I implemented this for them and they said it was exactly what they needed,
so I think it should be in the next release, and I don't think it needs to be
configurable.
