Yes, this problem *is* about the decision making process.
It saddens me that when for once KDE as a whole appears to make a decision,
we have to have a big internal fight over it. Lots of people (developers included)
blame KDE for not being able to make a project-wide decision or stance,
and when for once we have one, that is supported by the majority of developers,
those that are not in this majority complain as loud as they can - this is wrong.
OTOH I agree that Christopher should have discussed this (even briefly)
with kde-www.

They can actually get it by simply clicking on the "here" link, this is no argument.

Yeah, that's fine too. We're really discussing micro details though, it makes so
little difference to have one more link to click for one day - we surely all lost
more time on this issue collectively than people visiting kde.org will.

Then that's definitely wrong for him to say that.
(This has nothing to do with politics, kaboodle, nor the US Army though, I
maintain the fact that Neil's crap needs to be reverted asap)

Please also note that other sites do just the same (e.g. gnome.org), so
anyone browsing today will not be that surprised.
Actually some are even quite happy about that.

Dear KDE-Webmaster,

Thanks for closing down the site and supporting the ffii! I really love the
 black layout as well.

I hope it will not only be a show for 'our own' public, where I mean people
that already know patents are a bad idea.

Keep up the good work.

Kind regards,
