"remote urls" can be a subset or a superset of KIO, or the same set.

If it's only a subset it might make sense to leave this in I'd say. What's 
used for mozilla or netscape 4, which do ftp: and http:, but surely not smb:, 
fish:, sftp: or camera: ? The same flag probably applies here.
