I definitely remeber that in all Hebrew-localized versions of Windows that I 
had used in the past, the gregorian calendar was used as default, and if the 
user wanted Hebrew dates, he would have to select it in the Control Panel. So 
I guess this can be another reason to leave it as gregorian.
