RPMs remove all files from previous versions, so normal (redhat/suse/caldera) RPMs
don't need uninstall files.
Mandrake RPMs are a bit different (they ship a menu file, which generates a .desktop
file via some scripts), but I think it's the same there (the old menu files are removed,
so the old .desktop are removed).

Yes, uninstall files are mostly useful for people who compile from source only.
But we care about such people, they're the developers and the users with the 
most interesting feedback ;)
