This would break for some of the more low-traffic mailing-lists I'm
subscribed to.
Last time this discussion came up, we found that
Use In-reply-to
else use references
else use subject ( mod "re" / mod "was" )
else try matching quotes in the body
else give up
might be a good algorithm with the more expensive body test being only
done on user command.
For the cases, where cheap solutions fail, add a
X-KMail-In-Reply-To-Override: <msgid of parent>
header to the message. DnD'ing messages into threads was also considered
Good Stuff.
