kdepim/kaplan/plugins/kaddressbook kaddressbook_plugin.cpp,1.4,1.5 kaddressbook_plugin.h,1.3,1.4
Author: danimo
Modified Files:
kaddressbook_plugin.cpp kaddressbook_plugin.h
Log Message:
- Allow an application to have it's own dcop alias to allow a reliable way
to do IPC between the parts and keep kuniqueapps from being started standalone
as discussed with cornelius in Hamburg.
- Make the kaddressbook plugin use it and communicate via DCOP stubs
- Some API doc
The idea is to have plugins which load kparts for handling XMLGUI and delayed
loading while DCOP does the IPC (The acutal "integration"). Therefore Kaplan now
qualifies to be 100% buzzword compliant (did somebody say "Java"?)
Another nice thing about this approach is that whatever integration between the
colaboration applications and/or their respective parts comes along in the
future will (or should) still work when not being embedded in kaplan.
