Ouch!
Not to start Yet Another Tab Discussion, this wouldn't happen too easily when 
indenting with tabs, just because then you'd immediately see you're in list 
mode as the indenting tabs are visible on every single line that is not empty 
or unindented :-)

Temporary workaround: :set nolist<enter> before copying text
Permanent workaround, add a line "set nolist" after the "source 
/path/to/kde-devel-vim.vim" line in ~/.vimrc
