Hmm, I'd guess so... I haven't read very much on the subject, so if you have 
some good pointers for me, they'd be welcome. I merely considered 
'refactoring' a synonym of 'restructuring code without adding new stuff and 
without trashing the code completely in the mean time, like when doing a real 
rewrite'. Carsten's mail already seemed to indicate refactoring is more than 
just that and actually has a whole thought behind it - I didn't know that.

Hmm, in this particular case I guess that simply making everything compile 
again after making data members private is more than adequate. I did run 
Kopete after that, but I seriously didn't expect any problems at that point.

But again, docs are welcome :-)
