Yeeess!!! I'm almost there! After three months of occasional hacking and
rewriting all the >1200LOC of KDirLister I just was able to compile it
for the first time - with only 5 typos! :-)))

Thus I assume it will work, too ;) but I'll have to port KDE and test
the cache later, I got to write a compiler for a functional language the 
next days :( Dirk, when is the deadline for BIC-commits?
