Sure. Here they are: 

xxx_SOURCES is a reserved variable with a defined meaning. you cannot use it 
for your own purposes.

xxx_LDADD is a reserved variable with a defined meaning. you cannot use it 
for your own purposes. 

EXTRA_DIST needs to be set before you can append (+=) to it. 

automake 1.4 doesn't warn about these faults, automake 1.5 aborts. Still it 
shouldn't have worked like intended in the first place.
