Then we lose things like enabling/disabling timestamps for text lines that are 
already there, background colours, not too sure about clickable URLs...plus 
some things I have in mind for the future, like provide a popup menu when 
clicking on a nick in the text to do /whois, /msg etc. to that user. Hmm, 
maybe those things are not so important. I don't know, it's just a shame that 
all the great stuff of QRichText isn't publicly available.
