Subject: Bug#31859: Build failure in read-only copy of kdepim.
From: keithr () keithr ! com

Package: kpilot
Version: KDE 2.2.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: egcs-2.91.66
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Bug is compiler and OS independent.
I used anonymous CVS to check out a read only copy of the KDE 2.2 release, using the \
command:
cvs -r co -r KDE_2_2_RELEASE kdepim
During the build, I get the following error:
perl ../../scripts/mkrestrictiontable.pl -i ./icalrestriction.c.in \
../../design-data/restrictions.csv > icalrestriction.c
/bin/sh: icalrestriction.c: Permission denied
make[5]: *** [icalrestriction.c] Error 1
make[5]: Leaving directory `/home/keithr/src/kde/kdepim/libical/src/libical'
Since icalrestriction.c is created during the build, my suggestion is to simply \
remove it from the CVS tree. Removing it from my copy and re-running the build fixed \
the problem for me.
