Subject: Bug#30337: java javascript cookies disabeled, html seems not to work
From: gassauer () kde ! org
Date: 2001-08-06 16:46:04
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: khtml
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.19
OS/Compiler notes:
Hi!
If for security reasons java, javascript and/or cookies are disabled it often seems \
that the html page is not rendered correctly and/or some functionality is missing.
IMHO feedback is necessary to avoid dangerous trial and error (enable all the stuff \
mentioned above) to find out what was wrong.
Suggestions: statuts line information for each of java/javascript/cookies/plugins \
(etc) green = enabled
red = disabled
yellow blinking = disabeled but required
click on the statusline item toggles the status (similar to the extra toolbar)
