There works nothing reverse. Just the menu item gets checked/unchecked, if
you switch in the configure dialog.
In the version you are using there was indeed something handled wrong, when
double clicking on a header to get a separate window, but that has been fixed
already.

Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

HTML is sometimes not rendered.
two options for html vs. plain-text also seem to be conflicting.
teh Settings 'check' "Prefer plain-text to HTML" will actually work in reverse. I \
tested using apply - if Prefer HTML is enabled from the folder menu (not in settigns) \
then the setting check-box works in reverse. Also, if I check that box and click OK. \
then the folder->prefer HTML..text works in reverse aswell. and on top of all that, a \
few emails refuse to be rendered and I get a big chunk of HTML code. this also \
happens when replying 'quoted' to an HTML email.
