The layout problems in the main part of the page have been fixed. 
However, there still remains a problem with the menu at the top. I have 
reduced it to the following testcase:

IE and netscape display the images all on one line; khtml reduces the 
width of the cell and forces the images onto multiple lines. This does 
not happen if the colspan is removed from the first td. Lars/Dirk: I'll 
leave it to you to have a look at this one as I'm not that familiar with 
the table layouting code.
