As I mentioned in the bug reports, for my Linux and BSD system, after doing a
new checkout, compile and install from CVS at bootup for X and KDE the
kxmlrpcd crashes running into an assert. The command line output reads, that
the sockfd returns -1 assuming that it cannot create a socket.
No matter wheter I run this as user codexx, handor, sassi or root, the same
error occurs.
On BSD a new Kernel had been compile dint he mean time, that should have no
influence though on linux the base system did not change at all.

Furthermore on both KDE instals the io slaves, imap, opo, http etc etc
segfault.
In BSD I cannot access the font module in Kcontrol anymore, it simply crashes
not even giving me a bt.

I do not know, whether this is all related, but I thought I better pass the
information on and be as precise as I can be.

Thanks
