Subject: Bug#27707: kmail crash: delete in a special constellation
From: Achim Bohnet <ach () mpe ! mpg ! de>
Date: 2001-06-25 21:47:30
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kmail
Version: cvs build 25-Jun-2001
Severity: normal
Installed from: debian-potato-i386
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010319 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.19
With the folder cups (copy at http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/~ach/cups.mbox.gz 615k)
sorted by date and threads on:
Delete first message (has no followups) in folder listing, then delete second
message (2 followups, not expanded) --> crash.
But this works:
o delete 1st msg, expand 2nd thread, delete 2nd msg --> okay
o keep 1st message, delete 2nd (without expanded followups) --> okay
1st msg is:
Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2001 13:23:52 +0100

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
