On second thought, since the dialog can remain open now, I don't think this is
necessary anymore (it would be confusing to have it change font when clicking
around in the document!).

Subject: special character input should remember font
From: marcus@jet.franken.de

Package: kword
Version: 1.1 (beta3) (using KDE 2.1.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.14 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi,

the special character input form should remember the last selected font, or if \
possible use the font at the current cursor position.

also it is very bad that it is a modal window. I would really like to keep it open \
and just pick german umlauts when I need them in the text, and not open/close it all \
the time.

Ciao, Marcus
