Subject: Bug#26843: Konqueror doesn't execute shell-scripts that have a space in the filename

APPLICATION: Konqueror 1.9.8 (KDE 2.0)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 (compiled sources)
COMPILER: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)

Hi,

I've got two identical shell scripts, only their filenames are different (one
with a space, one
without). Whan I click the one without the space, it starts up, the other one
refuses to start.
I think it could be that konqueror recognizes only the part of the filename
before the space,
and due to that can't start the script...

Is there any solution for that problem?

Cheers,
Raimund

PS: another inconvenience: in kfm it was possible to complete filenames in
the location-
bar by pressing <tab>. This was cool, because I'm used to that from
shell-typing. Under
konqueror this doesn't work anymore (<tab> takes you from the location field
into the
left frame showing "Home Directory", "Network" and "Root"...
