Mimetype misnaming problem. Associate .doc files with the mimetype \
application/vnd.ms-word

This is all fixed in KOffice-1.1-beta2 (with kdelibs-2.2-alpha)

Subject: missing import filter. Can't open MS Win Word Documents
From: dberryman@cca.sitel.net

Package: kword
Version: Version 1.0 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Red Hat 7.1

I am currently running Red Hat 7.1 and tried to import a MS Word Doc into Kword. \
When I select the pull-down box to select the filter type, the parantheses for the MS \
WinWord filter, is blank. It looks like this: MS WinWord 97 (). I have tried \
typing in the *.doc in the paranthesis hoping that would work, but it doesn't. This \
is the response that I get. "Missing Import Filter, Could not import file of type \
application/MSword." I am also having this same problem with KSpread as well. Any \
help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jay Berryman
