I recompiled from cvs today (with new koffice directories), to see if it
would disappear, and it didn't.

Here is more information on what I have discovered (may be helpful, maybe
not).

Kword behaves the same today, as it did yesterday. If I create a frame, and
mark it to create a new page, and automatically connect the new frame to the
end of the frameset, it doesnt work. I can continue to type and type and
type.....KWord continues to capture the characters, but it never creates the
next page.

Now I have discovered, that if I save the document at this point (when I know
that a new page should have been created), as a kwd file. Then reload the
document, I now have 2 pages and everything seems to have worked just fine.

So it appears to me that KWord is creating a new page, just as it should, but
on my machine (at least), it is not updating the display for a new page, and
you cannot move to that new page.

I have attached the kwd file I created as an example. I saved this file
when KWord looked just like page one, only the page counter at the bottom of
KWord said page 1/1 and I could not find page 2.

Let me know if I can help in any way, or if you have an idea of what is going
on.

Mike
