This seems to be an honest mistake. 

Your issue with ticket number 25465 only affects a specific distribution of 
linux. We receive a large amount of distribution specific support mail. 
Obviously fixing distribution specific problems is a high priority to us here 
at the KMail team, to better serve valued customers that suffer from such 
problems we now have a 24 hour hotline mailing address 
kmail-help-hotline@kde.org. 

Please direct further queries to this email address in the future, I'm sure 
you will receive a more appropriate response.
