ksysguard reads the disk throughput directly from the proc
filesystem. The line starting with 'disk_io:' in /proc/stat in
particular. On a 2.2 kernel it looks like this:
disk 1875954 112942 0 0
disk_rio 1020667 33189 0 0
disk_wio 855287 79753 0 0
disk_rblk 8004092 216492 0 0
disk_wblk 6841468 636980 0 0
and on 2.4 it looks like this:
disk_io: (3,0):(1712052,1320579,26699386,391473,14276832)
If your number look somewho reasonable and change over time during
disk access I would like to get a copy of you /proc/stat.
