sir,
I read that documentation given by Redhat. There is given what is
antialiased fonts. Antialiased font has everything to do with the display
because it is a smoothing technique used to display fonts beautifully.
But the fact is I have no problem using those fonts at all in every program!
Even in control panel the problem arises only when I want to change FIXED
WIDTH Fonts not other fonts. If xfs was not capable of doing that then how I
can view those fonts correctly ?
So I think the bug is related with kde, not with xfs .
Because XServer after that also crashes so I am thinking to give bug report
to XFree86 bug maintainer's also.
Vinay Khaitan
PS:- I don't remember when I got this backtrace related with font changing
but perhaps when I used kwrite to change fonts then It hanged. And
fortunately kde gave backtrace which generally doesn't give!
Use it if find it useful.
