Your message with subj: kde 2.0+ vnc crash

>Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display ":1.0".
>KCrash: crashing ... crashREcursionCounter = 2

this doesn't seem to be a KDE problem, rather a problem with X
configuration, maybe even anti aliasing.

regards
 Daniel

Subject: kde 2.0+ vnc crash
From: line72@postmark.net

Package: www.kde.org
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Mandrake 8.0 beta 2

When trying to run kde 2.0+ programs under vnc, they crash and say:
Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display ":1.0".
KCrash: crashing ... crashREcursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kab path = <unknown>
Xlib: extension "RENDER" missing on display ":1.0".

This is true with all kde 2.0+ apps, kmail, koffice, konquerer, etc
