Subject: Bug#24533: run applet popup suggestion

Package: kicker
Version: 1.1 (using KDE 2.2.0 \6alpha1)
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.2
OS/Compiler notes:
The Run Command: box is handy, but when I'm not actively typing something into it, it \
simply wastes space. Experimenting, I tried the vertical kicker orientation, and I \
found that I liked that variant of Run: much better (but of course the rest of the \
panel is intolerable ;^) ).
Anyway, Run should have an option to display as a simple menu popup button in the \
style of window-list and desktop-preview. When clicked, a combo box should appear, \
just like with the vertical orientation.
This would be swell.
