I've got a MIDI device hooked up to external MIDI port - and trying the aRts control \
panel, hooking the device in, and connecting the MIDI controller to /dev/midi00 \
(major 14, minor 2) looks like it should work. I connect it to an aRts midi device - \
and nothing happens when I play on midi keyboard.

Now:
1. I've never entered one of these bug reports
2. There's no clues about what -should- be happening
3. there's no sign that anything -is- happening other than the /dev/midi00 is open.

Should something be happening?
