Subject: Bug#22900: Makefile.am in kdecore directory
From: habibie () NetZero ! net

Package: kdelibs
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
I have noticed that the Makefile.am in the kdecore directory copies the Web.colors \
and Royal.colors files into the $(kde_confdir)/colors directory as Web and Royal, \
respectively, and the 40.colors file into the (kde_confdir)/colors directory as "40 \
Colors" as shown below:
install-data-local: charsets.config
:
.
$(INSTALL_DATA) $(srcdir)/40.colors "$(DESTDIR)$(kde_confdir)/colors/40 Colors"
$(INSTALL_DATA) $(srcdir)/Web.colors $(kde_confdir)/colors/Web
$(INSTALL_DATA) $(srcdir)/Royal.colors $(kde_confdir)/colors/Royal
Is this a flaw and would not the 40.colors file be copied into the \
$(kde_confdir)/colors directory as "40" instead of "40 Colors"? If one wants to \
preseve the meaning of the file name, would not it be easier to copy such a file as \
"40-Colors" instead of "40 Colors"?
Just a thought.
