Subject: Bug#22239: launching applications sticks to correct desktop

Package: kicker
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
Something I do very frequently is launch an application (usually a webpage by typing \
the address into the Alt-F2 run menu) and then switch away to another desktop while \
it loads. Of course, if the window takes its time coming up (as it does with \
webpages when the nameserver is going slow), I end up with that window popping up on \
the desktop I'm working on, not the one I launched it on.
It would be much preferred if the panel "remembered" which desktop I launched an app \
on, and made all windows related to that app stick to that desktop (that is, appear \
there when they are created) unless I manually move them to a different desktop.
