Patches are welcome ! :) kppp's mechanism was there before DCOP existed
and I'm not 100% sure it would be a good idea to move as one has to be
very careful with a setuid application.

The best solution would be to fix the crash. I don't have any other
reports. I do have some other SuSE specific reports, though.
