gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux(egcs 1.2.2 release)
linux 2.2.14-5.0 i586

i used configure only with OPTS="--prefix=/opt/kde3"
in /etc/profile:
#For CPU i586 or Pentium compiler optimisation
CFLAGS='-O3 -march=pentium -mcpu=pentium -ffast-math -funroll-loops 
-fomit-frame-pointer -fforce-mem -fforce-addr -malign-double -fno-exceptions'

All kde packages from the cvs-tree compiled fine, except in kdeadmin ksysv 
and lilo-config.

Hope you can shine some light on it.
