Great. Could you please start kpilotDaemon by hand in an xterm window with

	kpilotDaemon --debug 1023

and then -- in a different window -- start kpilot with

	kpilot --debug 1023

? (You should compile with -DDEBUG, perhaps add it to kdepim/kpilot/options.h)
