Dear Sirs,

when using kmail, I got an mailer daemon error message by my
ISP. By analyzing this messages, I detected, that kmail don't
accept the system-wide setted preferences. In our case, we
use sendmail and have a genericstable and a domain-masq. That's
working fine with all programs - but with "kmail".

This morning, my ISP's mailer daemon told me:

root@robkol.lcl is an unknown sender.

By the way: I am afraid, he is right. When you receive this message,
you see what sendmail as a MTA has done with the mail: it transformed it
in a way to make it reachable for you.

What is your big goal? Shall kmail be another MTA and not only a mail
client? So Unix will enjoy apart of sendmail, postfix and qmail from now
on "kmail"? The incredible scalable MTA for Millions of users? Included
a strong, C2-fullfillable security? First step of the KDE-Project for
leaving the desktop? I can't believe all that!

Please, simple make a perfect desktop, you are on a very good way to
achieve this goal soon. But, please, don't manipulate network-settings if
you can't overtake responsibility for the damage you will cause for data -
and what is worse - for people.

So, thank you, go on and maybe send a patch for that kmail will be a
welcome member in the team. Sendmail told me, it would welcome "kmail" if
it would be a better teamplayer ;-)
