I have this quite often, kio-jobs that won't quit. 
For example with a http download that is 100% done, but that last package just wont
come. Then the connection stays open. This is common enough, I get that on all
platforms. 
But I can not close the kio_uiserver because cancel does not do anything.

Same thing with slow websites, or ftp connections that won't connect. Cancel
does not do anything and I keep having an open kio window.
killing is the only option.

Might have to do with me using squid2 on my router box..
