Today you sent me mail regarding solaris thread handling:

well I have tried various things ... and it seems that non has much
influence ... I can get beta5 to compile and link on solaris using 

gcc-2.95.2 

but then when I run it ... processes keep dying at a fast
rate ... (krdb, knotify, kcminit ... ) the Doctor pops up every few
seconds ... 

so in order to investigate this properly I guess it would be good
to have some notes on compiling kde on solaris ... is any such
document available ?
