Package: konqueror
Version: 1.9.3 (KDE 1.91 Beta >= 20000708)
Severity: grave

Switching encodings when browsing html documents (both local files and WWW)
don't works at all - encoding is always iso8859-1.
Traced down to KHTMLPart::clear() , which is called
through the chain of functions from SetEncoding(),
and in turn it dereferences current document and it's d->m_decoder() (among others).
Another (related) bug: KHTMLPart always falls back to iso8859-1, although more
reasonable behavior would be to fall back to DefautEncoding, if it is defined,
and then to iso8859-1.
2Lars Knoll: BTW, WTF. month ago you've promised to add windows-1251
(and other windows- charsets) support, Too difficult, eh ?
