Open Konqueror with single view of ~/.
Split View left/right, left hand view has green light.
Up arrow, left view now shows /home and has green light.
Click on info bar (or empty part of view) in right hand view, green light now 
in right hand view.
Remove Active View removes left view, not right one.

It seems that just LMB clicking on a particular view doesn't move the
definition of 'active view' as used by the 'remove active view'
function to the view you've just clicked on, although it does move the
green light.
