Package: kdelibs
Version: from CVSup server as of today, 1999-10-02
I can't compile kdelibs as downloaded from the CVSup server. Here's
what I get:
,-----
> make[2]: Entering directory `/export/home/grossjoh/src/kde/kdelibs/kdeui'
> /bin/sh ../libtool --silent --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. \

I think I might be doing something wrong, though I tried to follow all
the installation instructions. Here's what I did:
- Install mico 2.3.0 in $(INSTALLPREFIX)
- Fetched KDE sources from CVSup
- Created Symlinks as described in the install instructions
- Made kdesupport with the following commands:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$(INSTALLPREFIX)/lib
cd kdesupport
make -f Makefile.cvs
./configure --with-micodir=$(INSTALLPREFIX) \
--with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt2 \
--prefix=$(INSTALLPREFIX)
make
make install
- Made kdelibs with the same commands, only changing the directory
to change into
The configure script in kdelibs reported that it couldn't find a
`mocable header file' for kdialogbase, and indeed, there is no such
file in all the tree I've got.
I'm running Debian potato on a 2.2.10 kernel. Gcc version is 2.95.2.
What did I do wrong? I'm reporting this bug even though it might be
my fault, because maybe it isn't my fault, and then there will be a real
show-stopper in the KCRASH release...
Thanks,
kai
