When setting up an FTP URL on the Desktop, it seems necessary to put a trailing
/ (slash), at least where non-anonymous FTP is to take place. The FTP server
tested was a Solaris 2.6 machine running the standard ftpd.

I am using Red Hat 6.0 with kernel 2.2.5-15 (as reported on the "KDE Control
Center").
