I am using kwrite with the following options turned on:
Multiple Selections
Delete on Input
autoindent
remove trailing spaces

When I select text and type, sometimes the text is replaced and sometimes it is
not. I know that Enter and Backspace do not delete the selected text correctly,
they just act like they were pressed at the beginning of the selection, which
is incorrect behavior.
