            Bug ID: 398107
Summary: Locale mixed with English and Spanish on Installing
                    KDE Neon Bionic
           Product: neon
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Live/Install images
          Assignee: neon-bugs@kde.org
          Reporter: wereturtledev@gmail.com
                CC: jr@jriddell.org, neon-bugs@kde.org, sitter@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Using the preview KDE Neon Bionic ISO (from Aug. 23), I installed Neon to my
PC, selecting English for the keyboard option and a Pacific timezone. When I
clicked on the Pacific timezone, the installer insisted it was for Tiajuana. I
didn't notice a Los Angeles option, as I was using the global map to click and
select my timezone, rather than the combo box.

After installation, I noticed my times and dates for SDDM and in my tooltips
hovering over the time/date widget were in Spanish, while most of the remainder
of Plasma was in English. To change everything to English, I had to edit
/etc/default/locale and replace references to en_MX with en_US.
