From kde-bugs-dist Wed May 31 21:40:06 2017 From: Greta Watson Date: Wed, 31 May 2017 21:40:06 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: [kde] [Bug 380404] New: something in the update from 5.27 to 5.34 broke focus Message-Id: X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=149626681828083 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D380404 Bug ID: 380404 Summary: something in the update from 5.27 to 5.34 broke focus Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-bugs@kde.org Reporter: greta_watson@stanfordalumni.org Target Milestone: --- On 5/27, I updated my fedora 25 system (4.10.17-200.fc25.x86_64). Among it= ems updated were=20 kf5-frameworkintegration kf5-frameworkintegration-libs kf5-kdeclarative kf5-kwayland kf5-plasma Before the update, the level was 5.27; afterward 5.34. After updating, "focus follows mouse" stopped working. The window that was supposed to have the focus still has the focus, but the focus appears to be= in the wrong place on that window. Example: open firefox and go to http://start.duckduckgo.com Focus is expected to be in the search window. However, when one starts typ= ing, instead of the characters being placed into the search window, a drop-down = list appears. Or, open an xfce4 window. One expects to be on the command line. However, once again, a drop-down window appears, and the terminal window expands to include the menu bar. When one clicks inside the window, it removes the me= nu bar, and the window relocates slightly upward. At that point, one can type= the commands. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.=
