Nope, it's in the code. You can however rebuild your distro package with a
patch added.

On rpm-based distros it's as easy as installing the source package (e.g. zypper
si kdepim), adding a patch in the .spec file, then rpm -ba kdepim.spec.

For deb-based distros I find it a bit more involved, but doable still. I

I won't provide assistance on this though, it's not really my area and there
