Sure it's the same bug? Can you ping or even ssh into the woken (but black)
machine or maybe even switch the VT? Does it go away when suspending the
compositor before STR?
(Wake-up issues can have other causes, eg. the CPUs  µ-code loader knocked me
out for a while)
