            Bug ID: 353367
Summary: File Save dialog not integrated into current platform
                    (i.e., Gnome)
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-null@kde.org
          Reporter: post@ralfj.de

I am running Kate under Cinnamon. When I open a file with Kate, Qt
automatically figures out that I'm using a GTK-based desktop, and hence uses
the GTK "Open File" dialog. However, in Kate, when I save the file, that is
somehow circumvented and I get the KDE "Save File" dialog.
Remarkably, the icon theme used within the actual file view is not even the
Gnome icon theme, but the KDE one - even Dolphin uses the Gnome icons, so
that's rather surprising.

When I try a simple Qt-based application, "Save File" correctly shows the
GTK-based dialogue.

Reproducible: Always

I am using version 15.08.1, which I could not select above.
