Yes, i use USLEEP:
└─> $ env | grep "GL"                                                           
27:__GL_YIELD=USLEEP
30:__GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1

I remember adding that because video wasn't playing smooth without it.

The xorg log shows nothing for triple buffering.
