            Bug ID: 348425
Summary: Upgraded distro from 14.10 to 15.04 has odd glitches
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR

Update broken, after upgrade i get odd crashes

I recently upgraded my system from 14.10 to 15.04 .... as usual something
always breaks!

Initally the "ui" update manager didn't really upgrade but about dialog said I
had the new version!

Then I had to upgrade using the command line, 'sudo apt-get dist-upgrade', this
is fact has some issues at the end and I was told to do a force install of
items that failed to install at the end.

I rebooted and did the following things again
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start with 14.10
2. do upgrade to 15.04

Actual Results:
UI updater from taskbar notification didn't work, said it upgraded and the
about said it had version 15.04 when in fact the desktop start the same.
I had to upgrade using apt-get, which also failed at the end. Then I ran
apt-get install -f for stuff that did complete installing. Finally I had to run
the 'apt-get dist-upgrade' command a few *more* times. I get or crashes when I
open the setting dialog box and try to do something.

Expected Results:
I would expect a clean upgrade
