This report got a bit out of hand :)

The original crash reported by John Moore has been fixed in 5.2, so marking
this bug as fixed (commit 0f90ad4c79f1aa5ad12746b720b35616f0f8674e)

The backtrace provided by revillo77 is a different crash (which should be fixed
now too, but in plasma-workspace).

Finally, the Qt crashes reported by AnAkk and revilo77 are completely unrelated
to this report (or even KScreen, since they are Qt crashes). Those are fixed in
Qt 5.5 and there are no upstream plans to backport them to 5.4 AFAIK (however I
did backport them for Fedora packages, if anyone's interested:
